The index ID is used to map the value from the complete parsing output of a resume/JD as per the client’s business logic.
The Search Engine indexes the documents with assigned IDs. When any search and match query is executed, we return the index ID of the documents along with a few other fields.
For resume, it is FullName, Current Job profile, CurrentEmployer, TotalExperienceInYear, City, State, Country.
For JD, it is JobProfile, Employer, Degree, City, State, Country.
The process is to index documents with unique IDs at the search engine, store parsed result at client end with the same ID for the indexed document, and then map the values wrt index ID as returned on search/match.
