Our parser simply converts every resume document into a text form before parsing. If the document is not mentioned in a proper format, document conversion will take more time & you will not be able to get the proper results.
Also, field extraction depends on the format of data and the way in which data is written in the resume. The mentioned data in the resume should not be jumbled. For a 'jumbled text/parallel format field', data extraction is more difficult. We recommend that the candidate must use a simple format in his/her CV’s. The information should be written properly in the resume, required information should not be missed by the candidate, similar fields should be written in a similar format like multiple experiences, dates, and education, etc. and these must be written in the same way so that you can get only best results.
Tabular formats, designer formats are neat and pretty for us, Unfortunately, it confuses the software because the software cannot handle tables and will either scramble the text into undesirable data after conversion. So we strongly recommend using simple formats with proper information.
The best thing, If you're not getting appropriate results, you can find the answer to do analysis at your end and how you can verify the same, simply copy the resume data and paste the same in notepad. You will see the difference.
