RChilli parses all formats well; real-world accuracy and speed depend more on the resume’s text quality, layout, and formatting than the file type.

Recommended formats (best → good)

• Text-based PDF and Word (.doc/.docx) → typically highest fidelity
• Plain text (.txt) → very fast, but loses layout context

Note: Scanned/image PDFs require OCR/text extraction and can reduce accuracy.
