The newest resume becomes the primary resume, while the previous file is moved to Other/attachments. This ensures the system keeps a full history without mixing up which résumé is current.
How It Works (Simple Overview)
New upload becomes the primary resume
The most recent resume uploaded to the candidate’s profile automatically becomes the active or primary version.
Old resume remains stored
Older resume files are not deleted. They are stored in the Other/attachments section for future reference, audits, and comparisons.
Behavior by Upload Method
1) Uploading Through the Browser Assistant
- A new resume file is added to the candidate profile.
- This file is set as the primary resume.
- The earlier résumé remains available under Other/attachments.
2) Uploading Through FTP (Bulk Profile Import)
The outcome depends on the selected processing mode:
Update
- The candidate’s data will be updated, and a new attachment will also be added
