The difference lies in how the taxonomy is sourced and customized:
Standard Taxonomy
- RChilli’s default, ready-to-use library of standardized skills and job profiles.
- Provides broad industry coverage and can be used immediately without configuration.
Custom Taxonomy
- Your organization-specific extensions built within the same RChilli taxonomy framework.
- You can add, update, or modify skills and job profiles to match your internal terminology, workflows, or system requirements (e.g., Oracle environments).
When to use which?
- Choose Standard for fast onboarding and wide coverage out of the box.
- Choose Custom when you need to reflect proprietary terms, niche roles/skills, or internal structures.
Related how-tos
