What is the recommended approach for migrating a large volume of resumes (e.g., ~100k) into RChilli Indexing without introducing duplicates?

To migrate a large volume of resumes efficiently and avoid duplicates, here are the recommended methods:

1. Search & Match with FTP
    
   • Allows bulk indexing of resumes and jobs via FTP. The RChilli team will set up duplication handling.
     Limitation: A random, dynamic index ID will be generated for each file—you cannot specify the index ID yourself.
      
2. Parse and Index API
   • Indexes one file at a time via API.
   • Provides structured parsing.
   • Limitation: Not suitable for very large bulk uploads since it processes resumes individually.
      
3. MyAccount Portal
   • Users can upload resumes in ZIP files.
   • Limits: Maximum ZIP size is 100 MB and up to 50 files per ZIP.
   • Best suited for small batches, not for large-scale migrations like ~100k resumes.
      

Recommendation: For large-scale migrations

• Use FTP for bulk indexing.
• Apply careful batch management to prevent system overload.
• Maintain unique identifiers (Candidate ID, email) to help with future deduplication.
