RChilli is typically configured once by a Salesforce Administrator at the organization level. After the admin completes the setup and assigns the right permissions, authorized users can use RChilli features (like Resume Parsing/Search and Match) without doing any individual configuration.
How the setup works
1) Admin installs the RChilli package
- Installed from AppExchange (or via the provided deployment package).
- This makes RChilli components available inside Salesforce.
2) Admin completes org-level configuration
The admin generally:
- Configures field mappings (example: Resume fields → Candidate/Contact fields).
- Applies parsing options (if applicable).
3) Admin assigns permissions
The admin assigns required access using:
- Permission Sets (recommended) or Profiles
- Object/field/page/component permissions as needed by your Salesforce security model
4) Authorized users start using RChilli
Once permissions are assigned, users can:
- Upload resumes
- Parse and map data into Salesforce records
…without any additional setup.
