Category: Salesforce Integration / Resume Processing
Answer: This error occurs when Salesforce does not receive a value for the Last Name field while processing a resume.
Even if the Last Name appears to be available in the candidate profile, it may not have been successfully extracted by the resume parser. First, verify whether the Last Name is missing from the original resume or whether the issue is related to parsing.
Possible Reasons
1. Last Name is missing from the resume
- Check the original resume file and confirm whether the candidate’s Last Name is available.
- If the Last Name is not present in the resume, Salesforce cannot create the required record because the Last Name field is mandatory.
2. Last Name is present but not parsed correctly
- If the Last Name is clearly available in the resume but missing from the parsed output, it may indicate a parsing issue. Need to contact the RChilli Team.
Important Note:
The Last Name field is mandatory in Salesforce for the relevant resume-processing record creation. The process will fail if:
- The Last Name is missing from the resume, or
- The Last Name is present but not extracted correctly during parsing. In this case, share that file with the RChilli Team.
