What should be checked if a candidate’s graduation status is not populated correctly?

If a candidate’s graduation status is not populated correctly in the target system, review the education data returned by RChilli and the corresponding field mapping in the integration.

For integrations that use the HR-XML education structure, the current attribute is used as the Graduated Flag/graduation indicator and accepts a Boolean value (true or false).

Follow these checks:

1. Verify the parsed education data
   Confirm that the candidate’s education details, including degree, institution, start date, and end date, are extracted correctly.
2. Check the Education configuration
   Ensure that the Required Education and Required Education Drill settings are enabled if detailed education information is required by the implementation.
3. Verify the current field mapping
   Confirm that the current attribute is included in the response and correctly mapped to the graduation-status field in the target system.
4. Validate the integration logic
   Ensure that the integration accepts the Boolean value provided for the current field and maps it to the appropriate graduation status.
5. Test with sample resumes
   Test resumes containing both completed and ongoing education entries and verify how the graduation status is populated in the target system.
6. Qualification end date
   Qualification end date should be equal to or greater than the current date. The 'current' date will be true.
