How is the location match score calculated when comparing candidate and job locations?

In standard Search & Match processing, parsed location entities are compared against the corresponding candidate location entities configured for matching.

For example, Job Location City, State, and Country can be matched against candidate location fields such as current, address, preferred, employer, and other supported location fields.

When the GeoSearch feature is used, location matching works differently. GeoSearch supports:

• City, State, and Country
• Latitude and longitude with a configured distance radius

GeoSearch therefore supports proximity-based geographical matching in addition to standard entity-based location matching.
