No, you do not need to manually update your license when renewing your RChilli service—provided your renewal is processed under the same user account (My Account portal) and service configuration.
How It Works
RChilli licenses are tied to:
- Your User Key
- Subuser ID
- The assigned API version
- The selected server region
When your subscription is renewed, the system automatically activates the license associated with your account. There is no need for manual intervention unless:
- You're switching plans or services
- Your parsing credits expire or deplete and you fail to renew on time
- You are migrating to a different account or server region
When Manual Action Is Required
You may need to take manual steps in the following situations:
Situation | Action Needed |
User key has expired (due to credit or time limits) | Renew plan and get a credits via My Account |
Switching from trial to paid | Contact support to update your license mapping |
Changing server region (e.g., US to Europe) | Contact support to reconfigure your server setup |
Using Docker/on-prem deployment | You may need to replace the license manually (contact support) |
To Check Your License Status:
- Log in to RChilli My Account Portal
- Go to the My Account tab
- Check your:
- Parsing Credits Remaining

License Expiry Date
Still Not Updated?
